Robyn Bolton, Owner – Activate Marketing  (ex GM of Destination Northland):

I have known and worked with Michelle in a number of capacities over the past 3-4 years. She has an amazing capacity to listen, interpret and problem solve as demonstrated to me during her time at Vianet. In this instance Michelle worked to provide online booking solutions not only for Destination Northlands’ website but also for Northlands’ tourism industry. These solutions required a degree of flexibility, creativity and understanding given the diverse range of abilities.

More recently Michelle provided assistance to˜The Centre at Kerikeri” (through me as a Director responsible for marketing). This included a review of The Centres’ website, along with recommendations for the implementation of a range of online marketing activities. Michelles assistance has been both invaluable and effective.

Finally in my capacity as owner at Activate Marketing, I have worked alongside Michelle to provide one-on-one assistance to the tourism industry. Michelles role has involved general as well as online marketing advice and assistance (including social media marketing). She has developed an excellent rapport with these clients, and her work continues to deliver real results.

Billy Mulcare, Director – BIZNorth:

…We engage Michelle on a regular basis to provide specialist advice and website critiques to enable our clients to maximise the effectiveness of their web based marketing activity. The work completed by Michelle is quite outstanding, clients receive a very comprehensive and well researched list of recommendations and suggestions that, if implemented, will enable them to gain significant traction in optimising their websites, and increasing web traffic and sales.

The feedback we receive from our client businesses has always been extremely positive. I have no hesitation in recommending Michelle Ackers and Adept Marketing to any business that is serious about their web presence.

Tessa Clarke, National Sales Manager – Vianet International:

Michelle is one of those rare people who possess a combination of “commonsense” and “entrepreneurial thinking” which combined makes her an invaluable asset to any company who wants to be one step ahead of their competitors in this current tight economic climate. Michelle has great communication and team skills and if an opportunity ever arose to work with Michelle again I would take it.

I had the pleasure of working with Michelle when she worked for Vianet International as the Marketing & Brand Manager. Michelle has an excellent eye for detail and was always looking for ways to strengthen and improve our brand awareness through all mediums. Michelle’s complete understanding of our business rules and application made her an integral member of the Vianet team and her overall work ethic meant she was highly respected by colleagues and clients.
